Role: Chief Operating Officer (COO) – B2B Network for Channel Partners
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: Proven experience in a senior executive role, preferably as a COO in the education consultancy or related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the B2B network.
  • Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  1. Contract Management:
  • Oversee contract negotiations and management with universities and channel partners.
  • Ensure legal compliance and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Manage contract performance and renewal timelines.
  1. Business Development:
  • Lead the team in onboarding new channel partners and securing exclusive deals.
  • Set performance targets and monitor team effectiveness.
  1. Social Media Marketing:
  • Guide marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and engage partners.
  • Oversee unique social media strategies incorporating SEO and content marketing.
  1. Processing Operations:
  • Supervise student application processing and support for channel partners.
  • Streamline operations to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial health and profitability.
  • Oversee financial reporting and manage commission structures.
  1. Human Resources (HR):
  • Lead recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.
  • Foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
  1. Stakeholder & Partner Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including universities, channel partners, and investors.
  • Represent the company at industry events to enhance reputation and networking.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Regularly review departmental performance and provide improvement guidance.
  • Report progress to the Board of Directors on business goals.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes.

Goals for Business Growth & Profitability:

  1. Revenue Growth: Achieve targeted year-on-year revenue growth through B2B network expansion and high-value contracts.
  2. Channel Partner Expansion: Increase active channel partners by a targeted percentage within the first year.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Streamline operations to reduce processing times and increase application conversion rates.
  4. Profit Margins: Improve margins by optimizing costs and ensuring departmental budgets are met.
  5. Market Position: Strengthen brand visibility and maintain a leading position in the overseas education consultancy sector.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior executive role, preferably as a COO in the education consultancy or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
  • In-depth understanding of B2B networks, channel partner management, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, P&L, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
